Beth A. Rose

Assistant General Counsel, Product Litigation, Ford Motor Company

In 2016, Beth Rose became Assistant General Counsel with responsibility for the Product Litigation Group, which is comprised of the Product Litigation, Asbestos, and Discovery teams. Beth is also the primary legal advisor to the Global Data Insights and Analytics skill team.

Throughout her career, Beth has been involved in managing various aspects of the company’s litigation. After graduating from law school, Beth joined Ford Motor Company and began working as a lawyer in the Office of the General Counsel’s Discovery Group, handling Bronco II and Explorer rollover litigation discovery. Beth then moved to the Product Litigation Group, where she managed a docket of several hundred rollover, airbag, and restraints litigation matters. Beth was part of the team that responded to government inquiries and managed litigation stemming from the Firestone tire recall.

In 2003, Beth became Managing Counsel responsible for leading Ford’s Discovery Group. In 2010, she returned to the Product Litigation Group as Managing Counsel, where she provided strategic direction to the Product Litigation team and was responsible for outside counsel management within the group.

Beth obtained a bachelor’s degree with high distinction in political science from the University of Michigan in 1992. She graduated summa cum laude from Wayne State University Law School in 1995.   

Beth is married, and she and her husband have two daughters and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
